Some hard-of-hearing people can not understand low sounds, others high sounds, some can not hear the telephone ringing and some have difficulties hearing the TV. |
This is the reason why each Amplifon hearing aid is fitted only after having carefully selected the model best suited to individual needs. Several visits with the audioprothesist are planned to assess the customized fine tuning, which is done using highly advanced equipment. This has generated a system for customized programming, a true plus point of Amplifon. The system uses an exacting procedure, as follows. - Personal interview to fully understand the individual case (completing the clinical sheet)
- In-depth analisys af the audiogram and evaluation of the advantages of one or another hearing aid using automatic system
- Selection of the hearing aid

Customizing process
One of the best hearing aids and a competent audioprothesist will not be enough to ensure full satisfaction. Customized fitting has paramount importance. To reach this target, Amplifon has developed a proprietary process supported by Amplifit: a totally new audiovisual system with real life stories that allows optimizing these phases:
- Pre-setting: based on the hearing loss measurements
- Customizing: automatic setting of the main parameters, tuned to the individual needs in the different listening conditions
- Fitting: the audioprothesist optimizes the settings according to his/her experience
- Fine Tuning: possibility of final adjustements of each parameter
